Bogle House:
Amenities
- Bogle House sleeps 4 people. The master bedroom has a king-sized Leesa hybrid mattress, and the adjacent bedroom has two standard single mattresses that can be pushed together to form a king. There is also a queen-sized futon in the adjacent room if you’d prefer.
- The rental has a full kitchen with gas stove and gas oven, refrigerator/freezer, a coffee maker, a microwave, and a complete sets of pots, plates, glasses and mugs.
- There is a Dish television in the living room and high-speed Internet throughout.
- There is a single upstairs bathroom with shower and tub. Note that this is a 200-year-old house, so the stairs are somewhat steeper than most modern houses.
- As the unit is sometimes used as an office, there are two UpLift adjustable standing/sitting desks: one in the main room and a second in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The downstairs office also has a comfortable work chair.
- The rental has a central heat pump system that can be used for heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summertime.
- The property includes a stretch along the Deerfield River and has a large and beautiful backyard. In the summer you could play croquet, and there are a variety of sitting areas with benches, chairs and tables. In the winter, there is a surprisingly steep sledding hill and we usually maintain a short 1/10th of a mile path for walking and enjoying the outdoors.
- We’re right in town. As we are located in the West Dover Historical District, there are a variety of restaurants, shops and bars all within walking distance. We are also surrounded by the Farm Road Estate inn, so it is easy to walk to their restaurant, bar, concerts, skating rink and any weddings or events you may be attending there. For more on area activities, see the “Things to Do” page.
